The Geometry of Wellness
The plan is deliberately free of straight lines. Every path, pond, and building footprint is drawn as a loop or a curve, echoing the meandering form of the Bronx River itself — this is part of how the campus supports wellbeing. Continuous, non-dead-end loop paths are a well-established principle in restorative landscape design: they remove the anxiety of decision points and backtracking, letting residents move freely and stay oriented throughout the grounds. Soft, organic geometry brings a sense of calm through forms that feel familiar and natural. At Silverlight Gardens, every curve is an invitation to keep exploring, and every loop closes gently back into the whole.
