Mediterranean Revival
Located on Via De La Paz in the prestigious Pacific Palisades, this 6,260-square-foot luxury residence blends classic coastal architecture with expansive, modern open-plan living. Our studio collaborated extensively on the architecture, interior design, and landscape design to refine and execute this comprehensive vision. The exterior embraces a timeless Mediterranean aesthetic, defined by traditional red clay roof tiles, smooth white stucco walls, and striking steel-framed arched doors and windows.
Spatial Organization
The ground floor layout is designed for effortless indoor-outdoor Southern California living. A sweeping architectural staircase anchors the core, offering fluid transitions between the formal dining room, the expansive living area, and the outdoor ground deck. The upper level is dedicated to private family quarters, utilizing cantilevered decks and balconies to capture views and light.
Interior Volumes & Light
Inside, the residence employs vaulted ceilings accented with heavy timber beams, contrasting beautifully with clean, neutral plaster walls. Terracotta floor tiles run seamlessly through the main circulatory axes, bridging the grand double-height entry hall with the intimate, fire-lit living and dining spaces.
